Girls Life Brigade at Anerley


The 1st Anerley Company of the Girls Life Brigade was an important part of Anerley Methodist Church in the 50's. The first Captain of the company was Captain Pitts, who was followed by Captain Payne
At Church Parade Services each month the church was full. The members were loyal and a tribute to the leaders Captain Payne, Leffie Ada Whitehead and Leffie Simpson
